Director of Communications at Thor

San Francisco, January 31, 2019—Our Advisory Board continues to grow in rank! We’ve added Luke Diaz, the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Alto Pharmacy.

“We’ve learned a lot from Luke the last couple of months,” says David Chin, CEO at Thor. “From his work at Alto, Luke has gained unique perspective into both contractor management and the healthcare industry. Finding someone who understands both these worlds isn’t always easy, and we are thrilled to bring him aboard.”

Based out of San Francisco, Alto is the fastest-growing pharmacy in California which offers modern communication and free medication delivery instead of brick and mortar locations. Luke not only brings insight into both contractor management and healthcare, he also has a strong understanding into developing partnerships with companies in these industries.

Prior to working with Alto, Luke worked at Optimizely for five years where he built the the Customer Success Management organization. At Optimizely, he created effective customer success programs and assembled the right team to execute it. This knowledge will be critical as our customer acquisition strategy continues to grow in both size and scope.

“There are few things more thrilling professionally than seeing a great idea turn into an even better company,” says Diaz. “I’ve worked with tech startups for years now, and I’ve seen what it takes to get there. Thor is going to do big things, and I’m excited to be a part of it.”

Luke also serves as the President of DBT Ventures, a position he has held since September 2015. Prior to Optimizely, he worked for Acacia Capital and Management and Fisher Investments. Luke received a BS in both Business Administration and Management and Psychology from the Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
